I’m Eric R. Voth. I'm not a business broker. Rather, I'm a Business Transaction Consultant
who helps you “gear up” to sell your business.
Then I assist you with the selection of an appropriate, qualified, professional -- a Business Broker,
a Merger and Acquisition (M&A) intermediary, or an Investment Banker -- who'll serve as your
advocate during the selling process. This other professional handles the actual sale.
The scope of my consulting practice is nationwide. It encompasses all business sectors and all SIC codes.

• Help you determine if your company is in shape -- financially, operationally,
and organizationally -- to sell for its highest value.
• Provide you with information on various methods used to value your company
(i.e. to determine its asking price).
• Guide you in assembling the paperwork required to put your company “in play.”
• Discuss with you “best practices” related to matters of confidentiality.
• Advise you regarding the makeup of a “selling team.”

After helping you with the "gearing up" process, I function as a “matchmaker.”
I’ll provide you with a choice of several qualified selling professionals -- Business Brokers,
Merger and Acquisition (M&A) Intermediaries, or Investment Bankers -- who may best meet
your needs. At your request, I will facilitate an introduction to one or more of these selling
professionals. (In the spirit of full disclosure: When a deal closes -- i.e. you are paid by the
Buyer -- I’m paid a "finders fee" by the selling professional who finalized the transaction.)
